Baptism

I had a very special day yesterday- it was my baptism. I was baptized at our church- St Mary's in Breckenridge by Father Popp. I wore a very special dress- it was made from Grandma Doris' wedding dress. My Godparents our Auntie Molly and Uncle Brent. There was lots of family present for the occasion; I feel so blessed to have so many special people in my life. The baptism went very well; mommy & daddy were so proud of me because I was such a good girl! I didn't even cry when the poured the water on me! Cousin Jake was sure that I was going to cry.

Going to church in the morning before baptism; I am wearing the dress that cousin Gogi got me!

Mommy is trying to get me in my baptismal gown; it was a little hard to get me situated in it.

All done; me and Grandma Doris-- don't I look sweet!

Mommy and Daddy are trying to get the bonnet on me; I didn't really like this.

Me with my mommy and daddy; this is right before the baptism.

Our family again

Let the show begin... I am about to get baptized!

This is me getting baptized; I was such a good girl- no tears or screams at all!

So tired... it has already been such a long day, this is my usual nap time!

I am posing so nice... wondering how many more pictures I will have to take.

Me with my Godparents- Brent & Molly; I am so blessed to have such wonderful role models!

Cousin Jake is trying to blow out the special candle; it took him a little bit, but he finally got it out... practice for blowing out his birthday candles (he turns 5 in a couple weeks!)

This was the yummy cake that Senora made-- too bad I didn't get to eat any.

Mommy and her friend Amber Rose. Mommy kept saying how special it was that she was there to share this day with us-- we were so lucky to have her here!

Auntie Megan and Uncle Brooks-- they are in one piece, thank God!! (They had a little car trouble on the way to the baptism)

Jake is helping me open my gifts

I am out of my dress-- that was a little uncomfortable! My hair is still pretty slick from the special oils! We are watching Jake open my presents.

Grant is helping too!!
