Sweet Ava

Ava's growing so fast. It is hard to believe it has almost been 6 months! She continues to be such a happy baby, we are so blessed! She is still not the best sleeper; well, lets be honest-- she's a horrible sleeper! :) (Like her big sister was when she was that age) I have come to terms with the fact that my babies are not good sleepers. But, it is so hard to complain because she is such a good baby otherwise. We just get to spend a lot of time together at night!! She is smiley all the time and has the cutest laugh! She is sitting up for a short while and is really into eating her feet!

We tried cereal for the first time on Tuesday night. It went ok-- she didn't really think it was anything special

Easter

Easter Sunday was a great day!! We started the day early, Piper was excited to see that the Easter Bunny stopped by our house. (She was scared at first, thinking he may still be there) Then off to Fargo; we went to church at Brent & Molly's church. Then had brunch and an Easter egg hunt at their house. After that we had Luke's baptism. That evening we had another hunt and supper at Grandma and Grandpa Jaehning's house. It was a fun-filled day-- and so nice out! Perfect!

Smiley Girls!

We are excited for Easter Sunday tomorrow; it should be a special day as Luke Randy will be baptized! What a great time for a baptism as we celebrate Easter!

Here are some pictures from this past week!

Piper likes to steal my camera and take pictures... out of about 30 this was the only picture with a person in it. :)

Hmm... this is common in our house... may not even be wearing any clothes, but has to have "fancy shoes" on. Needless to say, my shoes are never put away!

Ava is getting so strong!! She scoots around on her tummy now and can sit up for a short time by herself! She is almost 6 months... were did the time go????

Double Take???

I knew I recognized that picture of Ava....

because Piper had almost the same one!

Spectacular Saturday!

The girls and I have had a great Saturday!! (Daddy is busy coaching in a 3 on 3 tourney) We had quite the morning-- we went to the Easter Egg hunt at the school. Piper enjoyed it, although was a bit scared of the Easter Bunny (just like Santa, and that BOB mascot-- I think any adult in a costume scares her!) After that, we went shopping for girly stuff-- like tutus, headbands, hats and flower pins. Piper was in heaven-- until she got home and realized the tutu was for Ava and not her!! :) (she has too many already) Lastly, we went to the library to un-wind a bit! A busy day, all before lunch! Now both the girls and daddy are taking naps. We will see what the afternoon has in store for us....
