Jaehning Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with the Jaehning side on Christmas Eve and the days prior. It was such a great time! David, Nina, Nina's mother Katarina, and Gogi drove up from AK and Amy & Rich flew in from LA. It was great to have the whole family together again!

The cousin picture with Santa. You can see the look of fear in Piper's eyes. Jake did a good job holding her in place by the top of her head; I am pushing her into the picture as well!

Ava is growing so much! She is now out of her newborn clothes and into 0-3 month sizes.

Ava's hair has lightened up some and now has a reddish tint to it.

Last night, Piper helped me shovel. We are getting her ready here. She loves to wear her snow pants and loves playing outside in the snow!

Piper's shoveling here. Her mittens made it hard for her to grab the shovel, so she was yelling at me to come help!

She had enough of the shoveling; she decided to "climb the mountain!"

"Stuck in the mountain!" I had to go rescue her as the snow got too deep for her!

SOOOOOO MAD!!! She wasn't ready to come in!

Fun at home!

We had a great day at home today; Piper and I baked all morning and listened to Christmas music. Surprisingly, she was some help at times! Ava hung out with daddy most of the day; they did lots of snuggle time!

We went to see Santa yesterday. Piper got scared-- so we have a picture of just Ava this year! She did get in the cousin picture-- it is priceless, Jake is holding her head in place and my hand is seen pushing her into the picture.

We have all our shopping done, most presents wrapped, the baking almost complete-- bring on Christmas! We are all so excited for Christmas!! So excited to see friends and family-- especially Rich & Amy and David, Nina and Gogi who will be her soon! Also excited to see Jenny, Trinity and Tim!!
