May has been a great month for us-- we have been able to spend lots of time outside, which the girls love!! Most nights we can be found going on bike rides, walks or in our back yard on the swing set. The girls play so well together; it really seems as though the last couple months has brought them so close to one another. Piper said the sweetest thing the other day-- "Mommy, Ava is my best friend in the whole world and I love her so much!" :)
They are both doing well-- Ava is learning more words all the time and is as busy as ever! She loves riding her trike and loves going down the slide.
Piper is now done with her first year of preschool. (she will still go to the same place this summer, they just don't have the school curiculum in the summer) She is still into all things girl-- dress up, hair, shoes, princess stuff, etc. However, doesn't mind playing in the mud! She has enjoyed helping me with my flowers and garden-- hope to have some pics of that soon, we had quite the adventure at the "flower farm".
Piper and I leave for DC Friday to see my best friend, Jenny and her family. She just had a baby yesterday, so we are BEYOND excited to meet Thomas!! Piper is very excited for our girls' trip! I think Tim and Ava will have some good bonding time together while we are gone!
