The house is quiet-- what a strange thing around here!! We have had a fun-filled day and the girls are taking a nap... finally! :) (JK- but it is so nice to have a moment to relax!) Today we have had a Valentine's Day photo shoot, made cards for family, had a dance party and met daddy for lunch.
The girls are doing great-- Piper continues to be all girl and into anything dance, princess, barbie, etc. She is still doing gymnastics and will start up dance soon. She likes to listen to music and "shake my booty."
Ava is a little fisty one! She is in the do it by myself stage and likes to do everything that Piper is doing. She is still our little greater, waves to everyone at daycare, etc. She is now nuk-less for the last month, such a big girl!! It went easier than we thought it would! She is trying so hard to talk-- lots of sounds coming out, but hard to interpret them! She says momma, dadda, nana (banana), melmo (Elmo) and we think we heard grandpa.
Doing some coloring last Friday...
Piper has really begun to take a liking to art and coloring; she could sit and color for hours!!
Ava would rather try to eat all the crayons!!
Play-doh time!!
Notice Ava trying to eat the play-doh!
We made a Valentine's Day countdown (thanks Michelle for the great idea)
On each heart, Piper had me write down all the things that she loves. Each day we take down a heart and talk about what the thing or person is. She is excited to get closer each day to Valentine's day. Today our heart was for "my sister." She sure loves Ava!!
Dance Party
Sitting with daddy!!
Pictures from this morning. Yes, Piper is back in her "Fancy dancing dress." And per her request she wanted her hair curly this morning. :)
