Happy Birthday to AVA!!

Ava Grace turned one on November 4th --- how is that possible??  It seems like just yesterday we were getting home from the hospital with a newborn.  This past year has sure flew by and we have loved every minute of it!!

We celebrated her birthday with family and some of her friends at the pool!  Yes, another pool party for the Jaehnings!  We had a great time!! Ava was excited to share the day with her daycare buddies and some of her very special teachers... we are so glad they joined us.  She had fun with her presents, but I think the highlight of the day was eating 2 cupcakes!! She loved them!! She got lots of great toys-- we have had fun this week testing them all out!

Ava continues to be such a sweet, mellow baby.  Baby... probably could say toddler now.  Wow!  She loves singing and dancing, waving, pushing her shopping cart, reading books and playing with her big sister!  She has took a couple steps here and there... it won't be long before she is walking!

We had her one year check-up, she is just over 20 lbs- very comparable to were Piper was at the same age.   The poor thing has another ear infection-- both ears. :(  I would have never guessed it, because she has been so happy and sleeping through the night!!  We have a week of meds in now, so hopefully it has cleared.
